Privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

Shutterfold is run by Krish Agrawal, an individual based in Australia ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website shutterfold.com and the founder licence pre-order. The Shutterfold app is not released yet; this policy will be updated before it is.

What we collect

The website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

How we use it

We don't sell or share your information for marketing.

Who processes it for us

These providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Your photos

When the app is released, it will run on your computer. We will not run a server that stores your photos. If you turn on AI sorting, a small, low-resolution copy of each photo will be sent to OpenAI to get its label, either through your own OpenAI account or through ours. The app's privacy details will be set out here before release.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until the free version launches and we've sent that email, or until you ask us to remove you. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires, which in Australia is five years.

Your choices

Email hello@shutterfold.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
